| These images are from a dredging operation in a small harbour located in Stockholm archipelago. It needed dredging after the bottom of the sea was raised through the years. |

| The gravel had piled up towards the wooden bridge (horizontal in images), making it leaning. The water was less than 1 m (3 ft) deep and must be deepened. The white fabric (right image) indicates where all sand and gravel from the bottom of the sea will be pumped. |

The slurry pump was mounted on a barge and hung in a wind-lass to simplify the lowering and rising of the pump. |
